Job summary

Renewal SA is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to support sourcing, contract management and procurement outcomes across the organisation in Adelaide, South Australia. You will work with stakeholders to understand needs, coordinate end-to-end activity and ensure value for money while meeting compliance standards.

You’ll provide expert advice, develop procurement strategies, conduct supplier market research and contribute to risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, contract management or commercial advisory roles.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in developing procurement documentation, conducting evaluations and supporting contract management.
• Procurement, contract, law or project management qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and services in best practice procurement and contract management, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and achieving value for money.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies, including the preparation of required documentation, to ensure business needs will be met.
• Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers and inform procurement decision-making.
• Undertake risk assessments, establish mitigation strategies, and support effective contract management.
• Facilitate evaluation and assessment processes and recommend appropriate procurement solutions.
