This is leadership role with the opportunity to driveprocurement governance, prioritisation, planned sourcing and performance acrossCouncil while embedding best-practice procurement approaches. You will adviseexecutive leaders, represent procurement in governance and planning forums, andlead a growing team fostering a culture of collaboration, early engagement,innovation, capability development and strong governance.

You are a strategic and resilient procurement leader whocombines strong commercial judgement with a practical, collaborative approach.You can navigate complexity, influence senior stakeholders and translategovernance requirements into clear, effective ways of working. You will bring:
Public sector procurement experience is desirable; CIPS orequivalent professional qualifications will be highly regarded.
