Job summary

Fortescue is seeking a Senior Superintendent – Process Engineering to lead a multidisciplinary team across Cloudbreak and Christmas Creek OPFs. You will drive safe operations, ensure metallurgical performance and data integrity, and deliver the Process Engineering roadmap.

You will oversee laboratory operations, QA/QC, and mass balance while coaching engineers and coordinating with site leadership to meet KPIs and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Extensive knowledge of dry and wet mineral processing unit operations.
• Strong knowledge of iron ore processing, including DSO and beneficiation.
• Understanding of metallurgical accounting, mass balancing and production reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and mentor the Process Engineering team, supporting succession planning and capability development.
• Drive safe, accountable and inclusive ways of working with focus on risk management.
• Build relationships across departments and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Support achievement of operational KPIs and broader business outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership across plant performance, product quality and metallurgical performance.
• Lead problem solving, investigations and continuous improvement activities.
