Job summary

KBR is looking for a Senior/Principal Water Infrastructure Engineer to provide technical leadership on major water and wastewater projects across South Australia and nationally. The role involves leading design reviews, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring practical, compliant outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to technical leadership and governance, and drive continuous improvement in design and delivery across SA water programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or related Engineering.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or working towards chartership.
• Experience in the design and delivery of water supply and/or sewerage infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of water industry infrastructure including pipelines, pump stations and treatment facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design and technical assurance of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions and drive value-for-money outcomes.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Mentor and develop engineers across modelling, design, and reporting while fostering a high-performance culture.
