Job summary

ING Bank (Australia) Limited is seeking a Senior Pricing Manager to lead portfolio optimisation and pricing strategy for our mortgage business. You will report to the Product Area Lead, Pricing & Credit Risk, Mortgages, and use data-driven insights to drive profitable growth and deliver value for customers and the business.

The role concentrates on forecasting portfolio and revenue performance, enhancing pricing through advanced analytics and lifecycle modelling, and shaping pricing decisions

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in banking portfolio management, mortgage pricing, retail banking, or consulting within financial services.
• Strong pricing, profitability, and portfolio economics knowledge.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, SAS or similar data tools.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders with data-led insights and executive communication.

We're seeking a Senior Pricing Manager to lead portfolio optimisation and pricing strategy for our mortgage business. Reporting to the Product Area Lead, Pricing & Credit Risk, Mortgages, you'll use data-driven insights to drive profitable growth, optimise portfolio performance, and shape strategic pricing decisions that deliver value for both customers and the business.

What you'll do

• Lead portfolio optimisation across the mortgage value chain, identifying key performance drivers and growth opportunities.
• Develop and execute pricing strategies that improve profitability, reduce attrition, and increase customer lifetime value.
• Optimise balance sheet performance through margin management, ROE improvement, and cost-to-serve insights.
• Forecast portfolio and revenue performance, providing strategic recommendations based on emerging trends and market dynamics.
• Enhance pricing sophistication through advanced analytics, lifecycle modelling, and executive-level business case development.

What we're looking for

• Exceptional commercial acumen with a deep understanding of banking products, profitability drivers, and portfolio economics.
• 8+ years' experience in banking portfolio management, mortgage pricing, retail banking, or consulting within financial services.
• Advanced analytical and modelling capability, with proficiency in SQL, Python, SAS, or similar data tools.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders through strategic thinking, data-led insights, and executive communication.
• Degree qualified in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Studies, or a related field.
