Job summary

TAL in Australia is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst in Pricing and Value to shape pricing insights and strategies for sustainable growth and strong customer outcomes. You will work at the intersection of data, analytics and commercial decision-making to influence outcomes and drive continuous improvement.

In this role, you will deliver pricing insights, develop actuarial models, analyze data, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to drive strategic outcomes and uplift team

Qualifications

• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and support sound business decisions.
• Use data, modelling and programming tools such as Excel, SQL, Python or R to generate actionable insights.
• Translate technical analysis into clear commercial recommendations that deliver value for customers and the business.
• Bring curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset, exploring new ideas, technologies and innovative solutions.
• Build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders through effective communication and collaborative partnership.
• Draw on actuarial or broader quantitative expertise in disciplines such as mathematics, statistics, economics or data science, with progress towards professional qualifications welcomed.
