Job summary

Hexagon is seeking a Senior Manager Pre-Sales and Architecture lead to guide a regional team of solution architects. You will develop end-to-end architectures, align solutions with customer needs, and drive strategic initiatives for Hexagon’s SIG offerings.

You will engage with c-suite and stakeholders, shape presales responses, and ensure governance across SDLC for mission-critical projects in the public safety and infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Level education in IT, Computer Science or similar relative field
• 10+ years Solution Architecture experience with a focus on Pre-Sales highly desirable
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or the equivalent
• Solid understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and other interface architectures
• Proven and demonstrable professional experience in a presales or equivalent role
• Proven track record in software or business architecture
• Understanding of business architecture and how it supports technology
• Demonstrated understanding of project management approaches such as Prince2 or equivalent
• Experience modelling requirements and/or business processes using a variety of tools and techniques
• Experience with selling, architecting, and delivering cloud solutions
• Experience with implementing complex enterprise projects in a mission critical/high-availability environments is highly desirable
• Public safety domain knowledge or experience with CAD/Mobile Computing is highly desirable
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contracts and associated legalities is highly desirable
• Understanding of profit and loss for proposals and responses

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of solution architects across the region to manage priorities and upskill
• Represent the business in commercial contract negotiations
• Develop end-to-end solution architectures for customer requirements
• Design and select high-quality information system solutions
• Translate customer requirements into Hexagon offerings
• Support presales activities including RFI/EOI/RFP responses
• Contribute to strategic growth and partner initiatives
• Deliver customer presentations and demonstrations of software solutions
• Manage documentation and ensure alignment with technical standards
• Provide input on governance across SDLC and project frameworks
• Advise customers and stakeholders on architecture and security considerations
