The post includes developing the psychology service, liaising with stakeholders, and supervising junior staff to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy for patients under Woodlands Hospice or the specialist palliative care ward at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
• Provide expertise and specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to patients' treatment.
• Develop the psychology service at Woodlands Hospice, including liaison with stake-holders and establishing effective working arrangements to meet patients' needs.
• Supervise directly the clinical work of relevant junior qualified and pre-qualification staff.

Responsabilités

• Deliver specialist psychological assessments and therapies within Woodlands Hospice and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital palliative care ward.
• Provide expert psychological advice and consultation to multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop and lead the psychology service, coordinating with stakeholders and establishing robust working arrangements.
• Provide supervision to junior staff across clinical psychology roles.
