Job summary

NSW Health at Liverpool Hospital is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join the specialist Palliative Care team on a temporary part‑time basis (minimum 20 hours/week) through to November 2027. You will provide meaningful psychological support to patients with life‑limiting illness and to their families within a tertiary hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification and be or be eligible for full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia in Clinical Psychology.
• Demonstrated experience in palliative care or complex medical settings is preferred.
• Ability to provide evidence-based psychological care in a multidisciplinary health environment.

• Provide psychological assessment and intervention to patients with advanced illness and their families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to integrate psychological care into treatment plans.
• Deliver supervision and contribute to service development and quality improvement.
