Job summary

Save the Children Australia is seeking a Senior Practitioner to lead the Ohana Academy program in Logan. You will provide holistic case management for young people aged 10-16 and coordinate support for families within a wraparound team.

You will bring extensive experience with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth, hold a related degree or diploma, and mentor staff while building essential community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth and families
• Degree or Diploma in a related field or substantial relevant experience
• Other skills and experience as outlined in the position description

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of families and caregivers of young people in contact with the youth justice system.
• Coordinate staff caseloads and program logistics; monitor risk management and child protection.
• Drive quality program planning and implement mentoring for Youth Specialists.
• Develop and maintain operational stakeholder relationships critical to program success.
