Job summary

Save The Children Australia, in partnership with Ohana for Youth, seeks a Senior Practitioner to launch the Ohana Academy in Logan. You will provide holistic case management to young people aged 10–16 and their families, ensuring wraparound support through an interdisciplinary team.

You will lead program planning, coordinate staff, and build strong relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to support positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in a related field, or significant relevant experience.
• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth and families.
• Knowledge of youth justice and wraparound services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of families and caregivers of young people in contact with youth justice.
• Provide parent coaching to build family capacity.
• Drive quality program planning and implementation, mentoring Youth Specialists.
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships essential to program success.
• Coordinate staff caseloads, logistics, monitoring, evaluation and risk management.
