Job summary

54 Reasons, part of Save the Children Australia, seeks a Senior Practitioner to enhance collaborative planning and integrated responses for vulnerable children and their families across the Mt Isa/Gulf region. The role partners with the Regional Manager to engage services, support forums and drive case management.

You will work with local communities, stakeholders and agencies to identify gaps, coordinate activities, and promote child rights through holistic, rights-based practice and strong

Qualifications

• Knowledge of community service sector, including Indigenous organisations and services for families and children.

Responsibilities

• Identify agencies and programs in Mt Isa/Gulf region for vulnerable children and families.
• Coordinate forums and working parties to promote service delivery collaboration.
• Identify service gaps and report to peak bodies and decision makers.
• Coordinate Local Level Alliance(s) when required.
• Provide operational support for the Family Integrated Case Management Group.
• Network with partners to negotiate support arrangements for families.
