Job summary

Fyfe is seeking a Senior Team Lead Power Systems Engineer to direct grid connection studies and power systems delivery for major data centre and energy projects in Brisbane. You will shape studies from concept to execution while leading a skilled team and advancing Fyfe's Power & Connection capability.

This senior role demands strong leadership, deep technical knowledge of grid connection processes, and the ability to manage complex projects with clients, AEMO, and network providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 10 years' experience in power systems engineering and grid connection projects with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Strong knowledge of R0, R1 and R2 connection studies, NER, AEMO processes and network requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead grid connection studies and delivery for major data centre developments.
• Shape load connection studies from feasibility through to execution.
• Lead and mentor engineers and drive technical direction of Fyfe's Power & Connection capability.
• Oversee project delivery ensuring quality, cost, safety and schedule targets.
• Develop and improve technical standards and methodologies across the capability.
• Build strong client relationships with Fyfe's project partners and stakeholders.
