Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Senior Engineer - Power Systems Integration to join the engineering team in Burnie, Tasmania. You will develop, integrate, and maintain complex product configuration systems that support design, manufacture, and delivery of industry-leading equipment and solutions.

You will work across engineering and business functions to translate requirements into scalable system solutions that support new product introductions, engineering changes, and manufacturing efficiency, while

Qualifications

Degree or 8+ years of relevant industry experience is required.
Experience in product configuration, systems integration, or engineering systems in manufacturing/heavy industry.
Understanding of BOMs, engineering changes, and configuration principles.

Responsibilities

Develop and support product configuration and systems integration solutions.
Translate engineering requirements into scalable configuration rules and processes.
Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and IT teams to deliver Integrated solutions.
Lead configuration testing, validation, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Resolve complex product configuration and data-related issues.
Support new product introductions and ongoing engineering change activities.
Provide technical expertise across configuration management and system integration activities.
