Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer - Power Systems Integration to join our engineering team in Burnie, Tasmania.
You will develop, integrate, and maintain complex product configuration systems that support design, manufacture, and delivery of industry-leading equipment. Work across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and IT to translate requirements into scalable configuration rules, lead testing and improvements, and support new product introductions.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience in manufacturing or heavy industry.
- Experience with product configuration, systems integration and engineering changes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support configuration and systems integration solutions.
- Translate requirements into scalable configuration rules and processes.
- Lead testing, validation, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and IT teams.
