Job summary

Enemix currently seeks a Senior Power Systems Engineer based in Melbourne to lead design, analysis, and implementation of power system projects for a growing client base in the energy sector.

You will conduct studies, support project objectives through collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers while delivering high-quality reports and documentation.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in power systems engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Proficiency in power system analysis tools such as PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, or ETAP.
• Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards, codes, and regulations.
• Chartered Engineer status or eligibility for CPEng accreditation will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed power system studies and analyses to support project requirements.
• Lead project meetings and liaise with clients to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Review and approve technical designs and documentation prepared by the team.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering professional growth.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to best practices.
