Job summary

Cummins is seeking a Power Generation Project Manager for our Wetherill Park, NSW team. Lead complex projects from planning through handover across the state, coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and risks while aligning with Australian standards and Cummins’ engineering guidelines. This role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities for professional development within a global power solutions

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ PM experience in power generation or related sectors.
• Experience managing complex projects from planning to handover.
• Understanding of diesel and/or gas generator systems and balance of plant.
• Ability to review drawings, schematics, and equipment schedules.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management skills.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex power generation projects from planning to handover.
• Manage schedules, budgets, forecasting, costs, resources, risks, and commercial performance.
• Coordinate customers, engineers, EPC contractors, builders, vendors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate technical specs, drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment schedules.
• Lead FAT, site installation, commissioning, and project close-out.
• Ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements.
