Kmart Group is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to join the NextGen Supply Chain program for a 12-month fixed term contract. You will design and deliver reporting solutions, partnering with Supply Chain, Tech, Data, and Program stakeholders to enable data-driven decisions.

The role focuses on turning complex data into meaningful insights, with emphasis on scalable BI solutions, governance, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering enterprise Power BI reporting and analytics.
• Advanced SQL skills and data modelling expertise.
• Experience with Snowflake and cloud data platforms.
• Ability to translate business questions into reporting requirements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and analytics solutions for the NextGen Supply Chain program.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, data models, and reporting logic across enterprise data platforms.
• Build and maintain Power BI datasets, dataflows, DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and reporting assets.
• Support data integration activities and partner with Data Engineering and Technology teams for reliable reporting outcomes.
• Improve reporting performance, governance, security, and usability across Power BI solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex reporting, refresh, connectivity, and data quality issues.
• Establish consistent reporting standards, documentation, and development practices across the program.
