Council Jobs is seeking a Senior Policy Officer – Legislation and Strategy to work across the Economic Development Division. You will develop evidence-based policy, coordinate governance and manage strategic projects to support economic growth and workforce development in the ACT.

Qualifications

• Strong written communication for high level documents and correspondence.
• Plan, prioritise and coordinate procedures and workflows.
• Analyse, research and present information on complex matters clearly.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to policy, project and strategic advice, including reports, briefs and submissions.
• Support policy design through research, analysis and evaluation.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across government and external organisations.
• Coordinate governance and project activities, including secretariat support and governance documentation.
• Support procurement activities and ensure compliance with relevant frameworks.
• Prepare key documentation including business cases, Cabinet submissions and reports.
• Provide administrative and operational support to deliver business outcomes.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, high-performing team culture.
