Job summary

Metro South Health is seeking a Senior Policy Document Coordinator to strengthen clinical governance and support safe, high-quality healthcare. You will lead the planning, development, implementation, review and evaluation of policy documents, coordinating governance processes and monitoring, reporting, and publication requirements.

Collaboration with clinical teams will improve policy standards and staff training.

Qualifications

• Experience in writing, coordinating and managing policy documents within a complex organisation.
• Apply strong research and analytical skills to interpret legislation, standards and large volumes of information.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide high-level advice.
• Manage competing priorities and coordinate projects to deliver reports on time.
• Bring a collaborative, innovative approach to change management and staff education.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, implementation, review and evaluation of Metro South Health policy documents.
• Coordinate policy governance processes, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and publication requirements.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to implement the MSH Policy Framework and improve policy standards.
• Provide expert advice, training and resources to staff in policy writing and document management.
• Prepare briefs, reports and project documentation, identifying opportunities for service improvement.
