Aestra PTY LTD in Canberra seeks a Senior Advisor - Policy to shape environmental and regulatory policy for government and industry. You will work with the Director of Policy and Leadership Team to deliver polished policy advice across environmental issues and regulatory reform.

The role requires Australian citizenship and ability to hold a Baseline Security Clearance, with 5–10 years experience and relevant tertiary qualifications.

Qualificações

• 5–10 years experience in policy, environment or law.
• Applied knowledge of Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (Cth) and state/territory laws.
• Proven ability to develop policy advice in regulatory settings and tight timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to synthesise research into practical recommendations.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare strategic policy advice for government and industry.
• Develop policy papers, regulatory options papers, and briefings.
• Synthesize reports and consultation feedback into practical recommendations.
• Assist with environmental and strategic impact assessment under the EPBC Act 1999 (Cth).
• Support business development activities and prepare responses to quotes.
• Contribute to development of promotional material and policy research.
• Provide project management support for delivery of policy work.
