Job summary

Professional Plumbing & Roofing on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber to join our team. The role focuses on commercial projects and may include overflow coverage for our maintenance plumber.

You will perform installations, repairs and upgrades across commercial, government and body corporate sites, read plans and documents, maintain WHS standards, and contribute to a professional team.

Commercial Plumber / Maintenance Plumber

Professional Plumbing & Roofing is a well established and respected Gold Coast-based plumbing company servicing a wide range of commercial, government, body corporate and domestic clients.

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated Plumber to join our team. The position will be primarily focused on commercial plumbing projects, with the successful applicant also providing support and overflow coverage for our existing maintenance plumber when required.

About the Role

This is a varied position that will suit a plumber who enjoys working across different environments and is looking for a long-term opportunity with a company that values quality workmanship, reliability and teamwork.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out commercial plumbing installations, repairs and upgrades.
• Assisting with overflow from our regular maintenance plumbing workload.
• General plumbing, drainage and sanitary works (incl Hot water system repairs and replacements).
• Gas plumbing work where appropriately licensed.
• Working across commercial buildings, government facilities, body corporates and other client sites.
• Reading plans, scopes and work instructions.
• Completing job documentation, photos and reports as required.
• Following all WHS requirements and company procedures.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• fully qualified and licensed plumber.
• Experienced in general plumbing (HWS's, blocked drains, leaks etc).
• Comfortable undertaking maintenance and reactive plumbing work.
• Able to diagnose problems and find practical solutions.
• Reliable, honest, punctual and well presented with a good work ethic.
• Able to work independently and manage your time effectively, while also contributing to a strong team environment.
• Comfortable communicating with clients, site managers, contractors and other trades.
• Safety conscious with a strong understanding of site requirements.
• A team player who is willing to assist where needed.
• Someone who maintains a high standard of workmanship, presentation and customer service.
• A current Queensland Plumbing Licence is essential.

Experience working on commercial or government sites will be highly regarded.
