The Opportunity

As an OpenShift Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, delivering, and evolving a secure, scalable container platform that enables development teams to build, deploy, and operate critical applications with confidence. Collaborate with application, DevOps, cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to streamline deployment pipelines, improve platform adoption, and enhance the developer experience. Automate platform provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and lifecycle management using Infrastructure as Code and modern engineering practices. Contribute to platform strategy, continuous improvement initiatives, and operational support activities while promoting best practices for virtualisation, containerisation, observability, resilience, and cloud‑native delivery.

About You

You are passionate about modern platform engineering and enjoy creating reliable, secure environments that enable teams to deliver value faster. You bring a balance of technical capability, collaboration and continuous improvement, with a focus on delivering practical outcomes in complex environments.

Essential Experience

Knowledge of CI/CD practices and platform integration with tooling such as GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or comparable solutions. Experience implementing platform security, monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery capabilities. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Advantageous Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of service mesh, observability, DevSecOps, and cloud‑native security practices. Experience supporting highly available, regulated, or mission‑critical environments. Relevant Red Hat, Kubernetes, cloud, or automation certifications. Knowledge and hands on experience of server configuration (Dell, HPE, Cisco) Experience in storage technologies (NetApp, EMC) Knowledge or experience in different hypervisors (VMware, Hyper‑V)
