P&C Partners Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to own hands-on management of a Microsoft Azure environment within defence and national security sectors. You will drive improvements, automate infrastructure and work closely with cyber security teams.

The role focuses on deploying IaC with Terraform, building CI/CD pipelines, and delivering reliable, secure platforms. You will mentor colleagues while remaining actively involved in engineering delivery in a regulated,

Formación

• Extensive hands-on Microsoft Azure infrastructure experience.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, identity, virtual machines, storage and security.
• Practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Strong PowerShell and/or Python scripting capability.
• Experience supporting business-critical production infrastructure.
• Background in large enterprise, government or defence or other highly regulated environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• The ability to balance day-to-day operational responsibilities with longer-term platform improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Manage, maintain and improve Microsoft Azure infrastructure and platform services.
• Support Azure networking, virtual machines, identity, storage and security controls.
• Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Python and Azure DevOps.
• Design and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide hands-on production support.
• Improve platform monitoring, logging, security and operational performance.
• Work closely with cyber security teams to maintain compliance with Australian Government security requirements.
• Contribute to technical standards, documentation and platform improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring while remaining actively involved in engineering delivery.
