Job summary

MYOB is seeking a Senior Developer - Platform to join the API Platform team. You will design and evolve platform capabilities enabling secure, scalable integrations across MYOB’s products, while shaping AI, developer experience, automation and platform services.

This role focuses on building cloud-native solutions and empowering other teams to move faster. You will work on securing API traffic, improving developer experience, and contributing to platform reliability and scalability in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Experience as a Platform Engineer, Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer or similar.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Hands-on development experience with Python, Node.js, Go or TypeScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, automation and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, containerisation and scalable architectures.
• Experience working within agile product development teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain platform capabilities that support MYOB product teams and customers.
• Develop and enhance API services, integrations and cloud-native solutions.
• Drive automation through DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure tooling.
• Build secure, scalable and resilient services using modern engineering practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, product managers and cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to platform reliability, monitoring, support and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in an on-call roster supporting production platform services.
• Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, testing and documentation.
