Job summary

Cloud Raptor in Sydney is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps & Platform Engineer to support the delivery, automation, security, and operational excellence of critical post-trade and payments platforms.

You will work across cloud, infrastructure, application, and engineering teams to build secure, highly available, cloud-native platforms that support trading operations, settlements, payments processing, and enterprise technology services.

Qualifications

• Strong Kubernetes and cloud-native engineering experience.
• Hands-on Terraform and IaC implementation across multi-cloud environments.
• Extensive GitOps experience with ArgoCD/FluxCD and Helm.
• Proficient in AWS with exposure to Azure/GCP.
• Scripting in Python or Bash for automation and tooling.
• Experience building secure, observable platforms with monitoring and logging.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Develop and operate Kubernetes-based platforms for multiple engineering teams.
• Implement GitOps practices and secure IaC across environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and platform lifecycle management.
• Support cloud-native delivery across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.
• Build observability and dashboards for platform reliability and security.
• Improve platform security, scalability, and incident response.
