The City of Albany is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Officer to lead the processing of development and subdivision applications and provide professional planning advice. Reporting to the Coordinator Development Assessment and Customer Relations, you will work to deliver high-quality outcomes and great customer experience.

You will apply urban planning frameworks, statutory and strategic policies, and lead a small team to ensure workflows are monitored and deadlines met.

Qualifications

• Experience with urban and regional planning frameworks and policy
• Proven ability to assess and report on development applications
• Strong customer experience and communication skills
