Yarra Ranges Council is seeking a Senior Planning Officer to deliver high-quality statutory planning services. You will assess complex planning applications, provide expert advice to a range of stakeholders, and ensure planning decisions are fair and compliant with legislation and Council policies.

• Senior-level statutory planning experience in local government.
• Understanding of planning legislation, schemes, policies and statutory processes.
• Ability to prepare high-quality reports, correspondence and statutory planning documentation.
• Strong communication with applicants, community members and stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Lead assessment and coordination of complex planning matters with well-reasoned recommendations.
• Manage a diverse planning caseload and support team members.
• Provide guidance and support to other planners and contribute to service improvements.
