Qualifications

• Extensive planning and programme management experience in construction.
• Data centre experience essential on complex or mission-critical projects.
• Background in head contractor/general contractor preferred.
• Experience leading a planning team.
• Strong knowledge of construction programming software.
• Experience with tenders, bids and work-winning activities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee planning functions across major data centre and mission-critical construction projects.
• Build, lead and develop a high-performing planning team, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Oversee development, review and management of detailed construction programmes.
• Identify critical path activities, assess programme risks, monitor progress and develop mitigation strategies.
• Engage with clients, contractors, consultants and internal project teams to drive programme certainty.
• Support business development activities, including tender submissions and proposals.
• Establish and maintain client relationships, identifying opportunities to secure new work.
• Provide strategic planning advice, assess programme impacts and support project teams with delay analysis and schedule optimisation.
• Contribute to planning processes and the wider business strategy as the data centre portfolio expands.
