Job summary

UGL is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to drive the successful delivery of complex energy and infrastructure projects across NSW and SA. You will develop and maintain project schedules, monitor performance, and provide strategic planning insights to support decisions from inception to completion.

The role requires a degree in Engineering or Construction Planning, senior planning experience in construction or energy sectors, and advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, Powerproject or MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or vocational qualification in Engineering, Construction Planning or related discipline.
• Senior planning and scheduling experience in construction, infrastructure, energy, resources or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract management, delay analysis and program-based claims.
• Experience developing and managing site-based project schedules.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, Powerproject and/or Microsoft Project.
• Experience with planning tools such as QSRA, MS Office, Visio, CAD and 3D/4D software.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of standard forms of contract.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise project schedules across multiple projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement and project teams for planning and resource allocation.
• Monitor performance and identify schedule risks, delays and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare progress reports and schedule updates for clients and leadership teams.
• Conduct delay analysis and support contract-related program assessments and claims.
• Provide planning insights to support decision-making and efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives and milestones.
• Support project controls, forecasting and reporting throughout the lifecycle.
