Job summary

EPM Projects is seeking a Senior Planner to join a dynamic planning consultancy. The role involves delivering a range of NSW planning projects, mentoring peers, and collaborating with clients in a hybrid work environment spanning home and Chatswood CBD.

You will apply 5–8 years of planning experience across education, health, housing and development to advise councils and developers, while growing your professional profile through training and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree or near-qualified in Town Planning or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of the NSW Planning system.
• Ability to work in a team and liaise with clients, government and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery of projects to completion and manage client/authority expectations.
• Review site constraints, development opportunities and permissibility.
• Prepare planning advice and provide planning services for NSW projects.
• Understand procedures and requirements of councils and state agencies.
• Prepare planning documents (DDA, SEEs, MRs, RES, SIPs, Planning Proposals).
• Interact with clients, agencies, consultants and stakeholders.
• Attend, lead and record meetings with clients and government authorities.
