Job summary

6Points is seeking a Senior Planner - Civils to lead the planning function for a major South East Queensland transport project, delivering complex rail and civil works across greenfield environments. You will develop and control the integrated program, providing credible baselines, reliable forecasts and timely action on critical interfaces and delays.

Relocation packages are on offer; Australian experience is required.

Qualifications

• Planning, programming or project engineering experience in civil infrastructure.
• Experience on complex Tier 2 civil projects and above.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 or other similar planning software.
• Strong reporting skills, with the ability to identify and communicate program risk.
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Build the program from the contract, drawings and specifications, setting scope, durations and key dates.
• Work with construction teams to plan staging and sequencing.
• Develop a logic-driven integrated program across design, approvals, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Run critical-path and delay analysis, flag risks to milestones and look for time savings.
• Support estimating with resource-loaded programs and prepare program reporting.
