At the NSW Department of Education , we educate and inspire lifelong learners – from early childhood, through schooling to vocational education and training.
The Senior Planner provides specialist statutory planning advice to assist in the delivery of school infrastructure that meets the NSW planning legislation. The role will primarily assist the various Asset Management Units across NSW and the key deliverables of the role is undertaking planning due diligence and supporting Asset Management project teams with planning approval pathway matters and supporting the preparation and lodgement of Part 5 Review of Environmental Factors.
This role is based in various regional offices around the State.

As a condition of employment, successful candidates not currently employed by the Department must provide a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance number. Renewal is not required after the WWCC expires, as long as you remain in a non–child-related role. Employer obligations only apply while the WWCC is valid
