Job summary

ACCIONA Construction Australia seeks a Senior Planner based in Adelaide to lead the development, management and monitoring of project programs across tender, delivery and completion phases.

You will coordinate inputs from stakeholders, convert tender programs into master schedules, manage risks and provide progress reporting with regular site visits.

Due to Defence contracts, Australian Citizenship is required for Baseline Clearance.

Qualifications

• Proven planning experience within construction/engineering projects.
• Advanced expertise in Primavera P6, scheduling, and program logic networking.
• Strong understanding of design engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and exercise sound judgement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong stakeholder engagement.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Management and production of programs developed from first principles using project scope, design documentation and delivery strategies
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholder inputs to develop accurate and achievable project programs
• Assign plant, labour and material resources, producing histograms and S-curves to support project controls
• Convert tender/bid programs into contract master programs
• Develop program management plans and supporting documentation
• Manage time-related risks and opportunities, including qualitative and quantitative schedule risk analysis
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor and record project progress
• Provide progress updates and reporting in consultation with key stakeholders
• Assist in identifying and assessing program changes and analysing cause and effect impacts

About the Opportunity

In this key role, you will be responsible for developing, managing and monitoring project programs across tender, delivery and completion phases, ensuring successful planning outcomes across complex infrastructure projects.
