Job summary

DRA Global is seeking a Senior Piping Designer to deliver detailed piping designs for large-scale mining projects in Perth, WA. You will create 2D/3D piping models, ensure design integrity, and collaborate with engineers, PMs and stakeholders to meet project objectives.

The role focuses on quality deliverables, adherence to standards, and safe, compliant practices within multidisciplinary teams across concept through execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' experience in detailed engineering design for mineral processing/mining.
• Certificate III in Engineering (desirable).
• Strong piping design principles and standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in CAD software for 2D/3D piping models.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and design deliverables for piping systems and components.
• Develop accurate 2D and 3D piping models using industry-leading CAD software.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable engineering standards, codes, and project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand project objectives and constraints.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical support to resolve design-related challenges.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure design accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Maintain design documentation, revisions, approvals, and project records.
• Provide regular progress updates to project stakeholders and management.
• Promote a safe, compliant, and professional working environment aligned with company values and policies.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Piping Designer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality piping designs and detailed technical drawings that support the successful execution of complexengineering projects. About You

You are a detail-oriented piping designer with a strong technical background and a passion for delivering quality engineering outcomes. You enjoy working within multidisciplinary teams and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining high design standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate III in Engineering (desirable).
• Minimum 8 years' experience in a detailed engineering design environment, working on mineral processing/mining projects.
• Strong knowledge of piping design principles, standards, and best practices.
• Proven experience producing detailed design and construction-ready deliverables.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative project environment.
