Job summary

CPC Engineering is seeking an experienced Piping Designer (Senior/Discipline) to join our Drawing Office in Western Australia. Permanent staff or contract terms are available.

You will contribute to major minerals processing projects across gold, copper and nickel operations, bringing expertise in 2D/3D design and Autodesk Plant 3D. Ideal candidates show strong drawing, isometric, P&ID, layout and stress analysis capabilities, with a disciplined approach to constructability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Piping Designer at Senior or Discipline level in minerals processing.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D design and Autodesk Plant 3D.
• Ability to produce and check drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, layouts and stress inputs.
• Strong understanding of equipment layout, tie-ins and constructability.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management and communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary design team.
• Diploma or degree qualification highly regarded.

CPC Engineering is a multi-disciplined engineering design, construction and project management company with a strong reputation for delivering professional, practical and cost-effective services to the resource industry.

We are seeking an experienced Piping Designer and a Senior Piping Designer to join our Drawing Office on a staff basis. Contract terms will also be considered for suitable candidates.

This is an excellent opportunity for designers with a strong background in minerals processing to contribute to the design and delivery of major projects across gold, copper and nickel operations.

What you will bring to the role:

• Proven experience as a Piping Designer either Senior or Discipline level ideally within the minerals processing sector
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D design and modelling software such as Autodesk products +Plant 3D
• Ability to produce and check drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, layouts, stress analysis inputs and material take-offs
• Strong understanding of equipment layout, tie-in requirements and constructability
• Excellent attention to detail, time management and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary design team
• Diploma or degree qualification will be highly regarded
