Job summary

You will interpret business needs, develop robust engineering solutions, review designs, mentor engineers, and ensure compliance with industry codes. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering required.
• 15–20 years’ oil and gas experience in detailed design.
• Strong knowledge of design techniques, standards, and codes for mechanical equipment.
• Proven project coordination and leadership skills.
• Professional Engineer registration or equivalent society membership preferred.
• Excellent organization, supervision, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong English language proficiency.
• Ability to adapt to office relocation and multi-project environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead discipline engineering design for pipelines and related components.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders to ensure clash-free designs.
• Prepare design basis, philosophies, and specifications.
• Review and approve vendor submittals and technical queries.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Participate in project kickoffs, reviews, and audits.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and manpower for the discipline team.
• Ensure compliance with codes and company procedures.
