Job summary

Worley is seeking a Principal Onshore Pipelines Engineer to lead multidisciplinary teams on complex onshore projects. Based in Brisbane or Melbourne, you will drive feasibility through detailed design, construction support and commissioning with emphasis on integrity and safety management.

You will mentor engineers, engage with clients, and support business development while upholding Worley’s standards and risk controls across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Chartered Professional Engineer status or equivalent.
• RPEQ and/or RPEV registration, or ability to obtain.
• IEPNG certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist pipeline engineering expertise across major onshore pipeline and facility projects.
• Lead pipeline engineering activities across feasibility, concept, FEED, detailed design, construction support and operational phases.
• Deliver safe, practical and compliant designs in accordance with AS 2885 and other relevant standards.
• Provide technical assurance across pipeline design, route selection, crossings, materials, facilities, integrity and safety management.
• Lead technical reviews, engineering verification, risk assessments and the development of key project deliverables.
• Collaborate with customers, project stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical challenges and deliver project objectives.
• Support proposals, project pursuits and business development while building strong customer relationships.
• Mentor and support the technical development of pipeline engineers.
