Pilbara Ports in Dampier seeks a Pilot Operations Superintendent to oversee governance, optimisation and continuous improvement of pilotage systems and compliance across the port network. This residential role includes relocation support and the chance to lead Marine Pilots West Pilbara in a safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in marine emergency preparedness and response.
• Ability to implement relevant marine legislation through port standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Governance, optimisation and continuous improvement of pilotage operational systems, compliance frameworks and supporting processes across Pilbara Ports.
• Ensure HELM and related controls are effective, consistently applied, and support safe, efficient and compliant operations.
• Provide governance oversight for pilotage operations and drive resolution of recurring operational and system issues.
• Provide operational leadership for Marine Pilots West Pilbara.
