Job summary

ACCIONA Geotech in Sydney is seeking a Senior Project Engineer with extensive piling experience to lead and coordinate engineering works for a designated project. You will oversee technical, inspection, scheduling, surveying, procurement and quality control to ACCIONA standards, reporting to the Construction Manager to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a tertiary civil engineering qualification, 5+ years in delivery roles, and strong leadership with budgeting and forecasting

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar.
• At least 5 years in a project/delivery-based role.
• Extensive piling experience.
• Experience leading high-performing teams.
• Strong forecasting and budgeting experience.
• Proven planning and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the project on cost and time with required resources.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Resolve design challenges and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Control costs and forecasts to support planning.
• Lead and manage large project teams on the ground.
• Maintain quality, environmental and safety systems across the project.
• Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure workmanship standards.
