Job summary

Senior Physiotherapist - Chronic Pain Clinic at Murrumbidgee Local Health District seeks an experienced clinician to join the Chronic Pain Service based at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital. The role is permanent part-time, two days per week (Thursday and Friday), with up to 16 hours weekly and pro rata remuneration.

The successful candidate will lead evidence-based physiotherapy across settings, supervise junior staff, and contribute to quality improvement, telehealth delivery, and service development

Qualifications

• Holds a tertiary Physiotherapy qualification with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience with chronic pain management is advantageous.
• Leadership and supervision experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy across all settings, leading multidisciplinary teams to optimise outcomes.
• Documentation, compliance & quality improvement within KPIs and NSW Health Directives.
• Leadership, supervision and team culture to foster positive workplace dynamics.
• Professional development through ongoing education, clinical supervision and performance reviews.
