Job summary

Transdev WA Pty Ltd in Fremantle is seeking an experienced HR leader to shape workforce performance and capability within a safety-critical transport environment. You will manage complex ER/IR matters, ensure compliance with employment laws and enterprise agreements, and partner with Front-Line Leaders to uplift employee experience and organisational performance.

Based in the Fremantle Depot, you will report to the Head of Operations, People & Culture, delivering advisory support across HR

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in HR/IR, law, business or related field.
• Senior HR Generalist with ER/IR experience.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and ensuring evidence-based outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and industrial frameworks.

The role

Based in our Fremantle Depot, and reporting to the Head of Operations, People & Culture; you will work closely with our Front-Line Team Leaders and Managers to shape workforce performance and capability, uplift management effectiveness, and drive a positive employee experience across the organisation. There will be a focus on managing complex employee and industrial relations matters and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and enterprise agreements. As part of the People & Culture team you will have the opportunity to support organisational change and continuous improvement, whilst contributing to our strategy and organisational performance.

What you’ll bring

Experience & Qualifications

• Relevant or Tertiary qualification in Human Resources employment relations, law, business or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong and substantial PC/HR Generalist background at a senior advisory level.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing complex ER/IR matters
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and supporting evidence-based, procedurally sound outcomes.

• Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and industrial frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and coaching skills
• High-level communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution capability
• Proven ability to lead change and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment
