Job summary

Orbit Australia Consulting Services – Glenroy VIC is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a full-time role. You will assess motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and functional capacity, and develop evidence-based therapy plans for individuals across early childhood and disability support.

Qualifications

• Requires qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, preferably in early childhood or disability support.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with children, families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of motor skills, sensory processing, self-care and functional capacity.
• Develop and implement evidence-based, individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver one-on-one and small group interventions to build functional independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including speech pathologists and physiotherapists.
• Support families and carers to enhance participation in daily routines and community activities.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, reports and progress notes in line with NDIS requirements.
• Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to junior clinicians within the team.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions and ongoing professional development.
