Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Remote PCB Designer Xpedition to lead advanced PCB layout for a satellite constellation program. The role emphasizes Mentor Xpedition proficiency, high-speed and high-current density designs, and collaboration across cross‑functional teams to move designs from concept through manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years PCB layout experience with industry-standard tools.
• Hands-on experience using Mentor Xpedition for PCB layout.
• Strong PCB layout skills: placement, routing, stack-up.
• Experience designing high-speed digital designs (5+ years).
• Experience with high current density PCB designs and thermal/reliability considerations.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement multiple spacecraft subsystems focusing on PCB design and layout.
• Own PCB layout design activities using Mentor Xpedition.
• Contribute to all phases of system design and production from concept to release to manufacturing.
• Apply knowledge of PCB design, assembly, test, and fabrication for robust, manufacturable boards.
• Design high-speed digital and high-current density circuits with signal integrity and power integrity.
