You will interpret awards and legislation, provide industrial relations advice, manage monthly payroll, and oversee payroll systems changes while building strong stakeholder relationships and delivering accurate service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high volume, complex payroll environment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of national employment relations framework.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Studying and interpreting relevant legislation and awards, ensuring compliance with all relevant employee legislative requirements
• Providing first contact for industrial relations issues
• Providing accurate and timely industrial relations advice and award/interpretation
• Managing & processing monthly payroll
• Processing termination payments accurately
• Processing relevant taxation and superannuation payments
• Management of payroll staff
• Implementation of payroll systems changes
• Consolidation and development of processes and procedures
