Job summary

The Sutherland Hospital in Caringbah, NSW, is offering a temporary part-time Physiotherapist Level 3 position (18 hours/week) until September 2027 within SESLHD. The role requires post-graduate experience in Palliative Care Physiotherapy and involves MDT collaboration, supervision, and education.

You will contribute to high quality care in a supportive, patient-centred environment and participate in service improvement initiatives within the Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology Department.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in accordance with NSW Health and Physiotherapy Board requirements.
• Extensive post graduate clinical experience in Palliative Care Physiotherapy.
• Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team with independent professional judgement.
• Current driver’s licence or willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement clinical expertise in Physiotherapy for palliative care.
• Supervision, quality improvement initiatives and education delivery to staff.
• Teaching of students on clinical placement.
