Job summary

Wildflower Kids Therapy Pty on the Gold Coast is seeking a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Part-Time) to join our neurodiversity-affirming practice in Mudgeeraba. You will manage a varied caseload, focus on functional goals with families and provide therapy across clinic, schools and home settings, including telehealth.

This role emphasizes supervision of early-career OTs, collaboration with families, and a supportive, balance‑oriented workload with mobile sessions using your own car.

Qualifications

• Holds general registration as an Occupational Therapist with Ahpra.
• Has 5+ years of paediatric OT experience, including supervising or mentoring others.
• Committed to neurodiversity-affirming practice and open to continuous growth.
• Brings warmth, curiosity and authenticity to their work.
• Confident working independently and willing to ask for support when needed.
• Focuses on connection, not compliance.
• Has a driver's licence and own car for mobile sessions.

Responsibilities

• Support a varied caseload of autistic, ADHD and PDA-profile children and those with developmental delay.
• Work with families on functional goals like toileting, feeding, self-care and daily living.
• Maintain a manageable caseload with quality focus (up to 5 clients per day).
• Provide clinical supervision and mentoring for early-career OTs.
• Support families funded through NDIS, Medicare and private plans.
• Collaborate with families, educators and other health professionals, including onsite speech pathology.
• Deliver therapy and advocacy in clinic, schools, kindergartens and homes, and via telehealth.
