Job summary

Little Steps Paediatric Therapy is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join a collaborative multidisciplinary team serving children from birth to 15 years in the Whitsundays, Queensland. The role offers flexible full-time or part-time opportunities, with strong administrative and clinical support, regular supervision, and a focus on family-centred care.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current Professional Indemnity Insurance (or willing to obtain).
• Current unrestricted driver's license and willingness to travel for community visits.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) (or willing to obtain).
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain).
• Eligibility to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and intervention for paediatric clients with developmental needs.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and community services to coordinate care.
• Deliver family-centred, evidence-based therapy across clinic, home, and community settings.
• Develop functional goals to support participation at home, school and community.
• Maintain documentation and NDIs; contribute to reports.
