Job summary

South Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to champion growth, confidence, and independence in children aged 0–12 years. You will collaborate with families, educators, and a multidisciplinary team to shape early development and deliver child-centred care.

You will lead clinical practice, supervise staff, and contribute to service development within NSW Health, with opportunities for ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy with AHPRA registration.
• Advanced clinical skills in paediatric OT and service provision.
• Experience in planning, implementing and evaluating local service delivery with quality improvement processes.
• Experience in clinical supervision and mentoring staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire – mentor and support developing clinicians while promoting excellence in paediatric occupational therapy practice.
• Partner with children, families and caregivers to develop practical, family-centered goals.
• Manage a varied caseload across home, school and community environments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
