NSW Health in Broken Hill is seeking a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to lead clinical assessment and intervention for children from birth to 18 years, with occasional adult outreach. The role sits within a supportive multi-disciplinary team in a rural setting, delivering high quality paediatric services across the Far West Local Health District.

What you'll be doing

The Senior Clinical Occupational Therapist position is responsible for providing assessment and treatment primarily to the Paediatric services – clients from birth to 18 years of age (including Primary Health Care), however at times adult services may be required on outreach or during times of low staffing. The Broken Hill Health Allied Health Service utilises a collaborative practice model in a multidisciplinary team.
Outreach and telehealth services may also be components of services that will be required. (Please note due to the vast distances of outreach services with adult or paediatric service provision may be required with appropriate support from an appropriate source).
